Cantine aperte 2018

Cantine Aperte (Open cellar) is one of the main appointments in the Italian wine world, when the member wineries of Movimento Turismo del Vino open their doors to the public. Every year Donnafugata welcomes visitors to its historic cellars in Marsala proposing guided tours, workshop, wine tastings and entertainment for children.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday 27th May at our historic winery in Marsala. The programme includes a guided tour of the winery and the wonderful barrique cellar, followed by tastings of all of the company’s wines. Activities for children (4 to 12 years) will be available again this year, as well as interactive stations for adults.

Master of wine: put the wine expert in you to the test! A blind tasting during which you will be asked to identify at least five of the wines tasted during the tasting experience. Anyone achieving this will be awarded the title of Master of wine.
Great vintages from the historic reserves of Chiarandà, Mille e una Notte and Ben Ryé: tickets available on the door at a cost of €5.00 per ticket; tasting with limited places. Times: 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm.

Seminar with tastings of Donnafugata oils and three of its wines paired with some delicious treats from Slow Food organisations: tickets available on the door at a cost of €10 per ticket; tasting with limited places. Times: 12 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm.

HOW TO FIND US:
From Trapani, take the SS115 or the SP21 and proceed for about 30 km.
