Donnafugata announced as the official partner of Piano City Palermo 2018!
Piano City is a city-wide festival bringing dozens of piano concerts to Palermo. The music will be brought to all parts of the city: in squares, theatres, beaches, houses, historic residences and dozens of other enchanting locations that reflect the essence of Palermo.
Performers will include great Italian and international musicians, as well as young talent from the Vincenzo Bellini music conservatory. The support of Manifesta 12 and Le Vie dei Tesori has been invaluable, not to mention the support from private residences, with secret spaces opened up to the public exclusively for this event.
It is a shared project, with a high level of public involvement, which sees the community, individuals and cultural partners working together for a better city. Donnafugata will participate in the event by supplying its wines for the Gala Dinner in Palazzo Darà and the House Concerts that will be held in the private residences of music lovers and professional pianists, who have chosen to open up their homes to audiences of Piano City Palermo, creating some truly special social occasions. Locations range from magnificent historic palazzi, to apartments in the Albergheria, Libertà and Politeama districts and special places, such as the Camera delle Meraviglie.
