A magical encounter that will fill, in addition to the glasses, also the heart and mind, thanks to an original and involving experience, ranging from music to tasting. “Nocturne for vineyard and percussion” will be staged, composed for Donnafugata by an innovative artist like Nino Errera, called to gather the vibrations of a place that is rich in history and future at the same time. He will introduce – in the La Fuga vineyard – the wine-lover spectator into a tale that needs no words but plays on the universality of music, that has always been present at Donnafugata.
A score that draws inspiration from the wind, from the colors of the land and the vineyard, and recounts the energy of life and the harvest; everything has a sound everything has a soul, thus branches, leaves and wine will be the instruments – together with other percussion – from which the artist will create an amazing harmony, arousing the emotions you can savor in the event teaser.
This Calici di Stelle, the first without Giacomo Rallo, the recently deceased founder of Donnafugata, takes on particular significance, also in the sentiments: the nighttime harvest of the Chardonnay – adopted in several prestigious wine regions today – was experimented by Giacomo in 1998 and then adopted in the La Fuga vineyard. An important innovation, that exploited the cooler nighttime temperatures to preserve the grape aromas and reduce energy consumption during cooling: solutions that allowed to increase the quality and take a concrete step forward in terms of environmental sustainability.
During the night of the stars, the protagonist is the perfect balance between man and nature, a mutual love relationship made up of care and dedication that culminates in the harvesting of the grapes.
