Every year Vinibuoni d’Italia points out, in the only Italian guide dedicated to native Italian grape varieties published by the Touring Club, wineries engaged with green projects. In this edition, seven companies were selected that particularly distinguished themselves.
Among these Donnafugata to which Vinibuoni d’Italia will award the “Ecofriendly Award” on the occasion of the national presentation of the guide on November 5th in Merano at the Teatro Puccini, in the frame of the Merano WineFestival.
Vinibuoni d’Italia’s Ecofriendly award represents an important recognition of Donnafugata‘s commitment to sustainability. A value that is part of the company’s DNA, which for over 30 years has been committed to producing wines with respect for the environment and for people: from good practices in the field to activities in support of the territory and culture.
Donnafugata also wins the Corona with its passito di Pantelleria Ben Ryè, making it one of the Top 300 wines from indigenous grape varieties that have achieved this important recognition.
