Ben Ryé 2016, Donnafugata’s Passito di Pantelleria confirms itself as a surprising vintage, achieving excellence with national and international awards.
It has received the prestigious Tre Bicchieri awards from the Gambero Rosso guide and 5 Grappoli Bibenda; in addition, Passito di Donnafugata has been named Vino Slow, a prize awarded by Slow Wine only to wines that are able to recount the territory, history and environment from which they originate. It received the nomination of Tre Stelle Oro from the famous guide Luigi Veronelli 2020 and is one of the Top 50 best wines of Italy BIWA 2019.
As proof of its excellence, it was awarded the important Platinum prize with 98 points in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2019. Thanks to Ben Ryé 2016, Donnafugata is included in the 100 Top Wineries of the prestigious Wine & Spirits.
These are just some of the prizes awarded to Ben Ryé Passito di Pantelleria, a symbol of natural sweet wines in Italy and around the world, which includes the hard work of the heroic viticulture of Pantelleria among the terraces, dry-stone walls and bush-training (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
